Q4 Web Systems, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based provider of SaaS-based investor relations solutions for public companies, secured $5m in new financing.
The round was led by Plaza Ventures, with participation from Atlas Venture. In conjunction with the funding, Matthew Leibowitz, Partner, Plaza Ventures, will join Q4’s board. Silicon Valley Bank provided debt financing.
The company intends to use the funds to expand product, engineering and sales teams.
Led by Darrell Heaps, founder and CEO, Q4 provides a SaaS-based financial content and data analytics platform for delivering investor websites, mobile applications and intelligence to CFOs and the investor relations departments of public companies.
Its solutions are used by brands including Nike, Salesforce, FedEx and McDonald’s.
