greenlight.guru Closes $1.25M Seed Funding

GREENgreenlight.guru, an Indianapolis, IN-based quality management software for the medical device community, closed a $1.25m seed funding round.

Backers included a group of undisclosed individual angels.

The company intends to use the capital to hire engineers, continue product development, and expand customer acquisition initiatives.

Led by CEO Dave DeRam, COO Jason McKibbin, and VP of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Jon Speer, greenlight.guru allows medical device manufactures to bring products to market faster by providing them with a cloud-based integrated quality system designed for regulatory compliance.
The company released its alpha version to a small group of early adopters in March of 2014 with the goal of gathering valuable user insight. On November 3rd, its beta version was released privately to emerging and mid-stage medical device companies with a next major scheduled release expected this Spring.
