ContaAzul, a Joinville, Brazil-based provider of accounting and invoicing solutions to SMBs, raised a Series C round of financing.
The amount of the round was not disclosed.
The investment was led by existing investor Ribbit Capital, with participation from Tiger Global Management as well as existing investors 500 Startups, Monashees Capital and Valar Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its accounting and invoicing platform and launch a new specialized platform for Brazilian accounting firms.
Founded in 2011 by Vinícius Roveda, CEO, ContaAzul offers SaaS accounting and invoicing solutions for more than 400,000 small businesses.
