Conductor, a New York, NY-based provider of Web Presence Management technology, secured $27M in Series D funding.
The round was led by Catalyst Investors with participation from existing investors FirstMark Capital, Matrix Partners and Investor Growth Capital, as well as new investor Blue Cloud Ventures. In conjunction with the investment, Catalyst partner Tyler Newton joined Conductor’s board of directors.
The company, which has raised over $60m, intends to use the funds to continue to develop its Conductor Searchlight™.
Led by CEO and Founder Seth Besmertnik, Conductor provides Conductor Searchlight™, a platform which allows brands to engage more customers throughout their buyer’s journey, increasing traffic, conversions and revenue.
The platform aims to transform a brand’s web presence in ‘unpaid’ channels, like organic search, content and social, into an acquisition method resulting in meaningful traffic & revenue increases. Its technology gathers data from the web to deliver insight into where a brand’s content is getting discovered, how their competition is being found and the tools to monetize those channels.
The company serves more than 500 customers including global brands like Citibank, AT&T, Overstock.com, REI, Ticketmaster and FedEx, emerging leaders like Ancestry.com and Apartments.com, and agencies like iProspect & Razorfish.
