APImetrics, a Seattle, WA-based provider of API performance monitoring solutions, raised $500k in seed funding.
The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, via its new seed program.
Led by David O’Neill, CEO, APImetrics provides an analytics-driven API performance monitoring solution which gives multiple stakeholders – developers, enterprises, and API providers – actionable insight derived from testing across different geographies and cloud services. This range of applications and cloud services includes hosting platforms such as Google Apps Engine, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. With APImetrics, tests run on a repeating basis even when API calls require authentication or security tokens.
It is used by a number of API focused organizations like Microsoft, AT&T and TIBCO.
