Andy OS, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of a mobile OS, received an investment from 500 Startups‘ mobile-focused micro-fund 500 Mobile Collective.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Launched in April 2014 by Sean Murphy (CEO), Eyal Fishler (CTO) and Yossi Fishler (COO), Andy OS is a mobile OS in the Cloud which allows a continuous experience for people using Android, by allowing all apps and features to work on any PC (Windows desktop, tablet, netbook, laptop, ultra-book, all in one and Mac desktop/laptop).
Also used as a virtual development platform, it has 3m users and 60% daily active users, who spend an average of 23 minutes per day, per session.
