Sparkcentral, a San Francisco, CA-based CRM platform, secured $12m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Split Rock Partners with participation from existing backer Sigma West. In conjunction with the funding, Jim Simons, managing director at Split Rock Partners, will join Sparkcentral’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to expand and hire across all departments, particularly engineering, sales and marketing.
Led by Co-founder and CEO Davy Kestens, Sparkcentral provides an enterprise customer engagement platform for real-time customer service that unifies social, mobile, cloud and contextualdata to proactively deliver personalized and engaging customer experiences.
Customers include T-Mobile, Delta Air Lines, Netflix, Dropbox, Uber and Sears.
