Simplified Raises Seed Funding from Stratton Investments Group

simplified_logoSimplified, an Austin, TX-based online platform for ordering settlement services to process and close real estate loans, recently unveiled it received seed funding from the Stratton Investments Group.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company is using the funds to increase customer adoption.

Founded in 2014 and led by Melissa Potapova, CEO, Simplified recently launched its cloud-based system that simplifies the delivery of settlement services, allowing lending institutions to consolidate local and national vendor relationships together on an intuitive interface. With the platform, lenders can process and close real estate secured loans, from credit to closing and beyond, by ordering services either directly from Simplified’s vendors or using the lender’s own local vendors.
The company passed its SSAE 16 Service Organization Control (SOC) 1, (Type 1) audit as of November 30, 2014. The audit was conducted to assess the integrity and design of the internal controls (policies, procedures and technologies) implemented and practiced by Simplified’s vendor management program.
