Pulsate Raises $1.2M First Funding

Context Marketing Startup Pulsate Finalizes $1.2 Million First Round Funding by High Profile InvestorsPulsate, a Dublin, Ireland, and San Francisco, CA-based context marketing startup, raised $1.2M first funding round.

The round was led by Delta Partners’ Bank of Ireland seed fund, Enterprise Ireland, PayPal, Inc. and dunnhumby Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its product and to increase business in the US.

Led by founder and CEO Patrick Leddy, Pulsate is an end-to-end context marketing platform for mobile that allows brands to interact with customers both inside their apps and within brick and mortar locations. Integrated with new or existing apps, the platform provides live audience segmentation alongside a campaign builder to deliver engaging customer experiences with users encouraged to reply.
