Clearview Capital, via Clearview Capital Fund III, acquired Xcellence, Inc. and its subsidiaries, which does business as Xact Data Discovery, a Mission, Kansas-based provider of electronic discovery and data management solutions.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. In conjunction with it, founder and CEO Bob Polus will continue to lead the management team and retain significant ownership in the company, which provides streamlined forensic collection, processing, hosting, document review and project management services.
Customers include a diverse group of national and regional law firms, corporations and government entities.
Xact Data Discovery has 16 offices in 11 states.
The company intends to use the proceeds to pursue additional acquisitions to add new locations and service capabilities.
