Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE) has acquired Fotolia, a NYC-based microstock photo provider, for $800m.
Sellers in the transaction, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2015 included KKR and TA Associates.
They had invested in Fotolia in June 2012.
Founded in 2004 by Oleg Tscheltzoff, Fotolia is a large global marketplace for royalty-free images, graphics and HD Videos with more than 34 million digital images and videos,
Today, it has over 5 million members and is available in 14 languages around the world.
