Sentient Technologies Raises $103.5M in Series C Funding

logo-sentient-technologiesSentient Technologies, a San Francisco, CA-based company that leverages artificial intelligence solve the world’s most complex problems, raised $103.5m in Series C funding.

The round was led by Access Industries with participation from Tata Communications (Hong Kong) Limited (a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Tata Communications Limited), existing investors Horizons Ventures, and a group of private investors in the fields of finance, consumer, food and beverage, and real estate.

The company, which has raised more than $143m to date, will use the funds to grow the team, further scale its partner infrastructure, and accelerate the commercialization of our distributed artificial intelligence technologies.

Led by Antoine Blondeau, Chief Executive Officer, Sentient Technologies operates distributed artificial intelligence to enable researchers, innovators and companies to make accurate, actionable decisions and solve mission-critical, high value problems in the fields of healthcare, medical research, fraud detection, public safety, e-commerce, and other areas.

The company is currently building APIs.

In addition to the investment, Tata Communications will partner with Sentient and provide a suite of enablement services, including data center space, managed hosting and network. It will also partner to develop additional products and services.
