Metal Networks, a Houston, TX-based provider of software for buying and selling in the metals industry, raised $5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by S3 Ventures.
The company will use the funds to extend its growth and sales.
Led by Jeremy Chapman, founder and CEO, Metal Networks provides SaaS platform for buying and selling semi-finished industrial metal. The software allows customers to access and trade all inventory in real time, using their own existing website framework.
