InsightSquared, a Cambridge, MA-based provider of next generation business intelligence (BI) software as a service (SaaS), closed a $13.5m in Series C financing.
Backers included existing investors Atlas Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and NextView Ventures and new investor Two Sigma Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the growth of sales and marketing as well as research and development.
Led by Fred Shilmover, CEO, InsightSquared provides a Salesforce analytics and business intelligence platform for sales and marketing.
The company currently employs over 100 individuals at its headquarters.
