Highspot, a Seattle, WA-based provider of a sales engagement platform, closed a $9.6m Series A financing.
The round, which included the conversion of existing seed notes, was led by Madrona Venture Group. In conjunction with the funding, Tim Porter, Managing Director of Madrona Venture Group, will join Highspot’s board.
Led by co-founder and CEO Robert Wahbe, Highspot provides a cloud-based sales engagement platform that scores and recommends content, delivers real-time alerts on how customers are engaging, and provides advanced analytics for enterprises to optimize their sales cycle. It integrates within existing CRM systems like Salesforce.com and file services such as Box and Dropbox.
