Cue Raises $7.5M in Series A Funding

cueCue, a San Diego, CA-based technology company creating consumer health products, raised $7.5m in Series A round of funding.

The round was led by Sherpa Ventures with participation from Immortalana, an early angel investor founded by Chairwoman, Kelly Day, Robin Farias-Eisner MD PhD, and Srinivasa Reddy PhD. In conjunction with the funding, Shervin Pishevar, Managing Director at Sherpa Ventures, and Robin Farias-Eisner MD PhD, Professor at UCLA Medical School, and partner in Immortalana, will join Cue’s Board of Directors.

Led by CEO and founder Ayub Khattak, Cue enables consumers to connect to their wellness at the molecular level, allowing for health tracking. By simply adding saliva, a blood droplet, or nasal swab, users can measure five key wellness and lifestyle indicators inflammation, vitamin D, fertility, influenza, and testosterone, accessing information about their body previously only available from a lab — on demand and on schedule. Interactive charts allow them to discover new trends, monitor progress, and share it with other people. The company also features Life Feed, a smartphone-based way to visualize the daily effect of activity, food, and sleep on molecular levels and overall wellness.
Cue makes research-based recommendations for foods and activities and Cue alerts users when things change.
