ContactLab Raises €4M in Funding

contactlabContactLab, a Milan, Italy-based provider of a direct digital marketing platform, raised €4m in funding.

The round was led by Andrea Di Camillo’s venture capital firm Programma 101 (P101).

The company intends to use the funds to speed up its product research and development plan and its expansion in international markets.

Founded in 1998 by CEO Massimo Fubini, ContactLab provides a SaaS-based direct digital marketing software platform for managing and sending email campaigns, sms and push notifications.
Over the years, the company has acquired over 1,000 clients.
It also operates NewsletterMonitor, a benchmarking platform that offers a view point on competitor’s email marketing strategies.
It is the only Italian company in the 2014 issue of the Gartner Market Guide for Email Marketing and has been included in the Elite program of the Borsa Italiana, a training and consultancy program for the most promising Italian companies.
