Audyssey, a Los Angeles, CA-based developer of audio technologies that aim to improve the listening experience, received an investment from Intel Capital.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate adoption of its technologies in categories such as desktop computers, laptops and tablet PCs.
Established in 2002 by Chris Kyriakakis, chief technology officer, Audyssey provides audio technologies which are used to optimize audio performance of mobile devices, headphones, home theaters, televisions, IMAX theaters and premium automobiles.
