Yoogaia, a Helsinki, Finland-based live, interactive online yoga studio, raised $630k in funding from Inventure.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand globally.
Led by Mikko Petäjä, Founder and CEO, Yoogaia provides a live, interactive online yoga studio for people to exercise in their home with professional teacher instructing then personally via webcam. In addition to yoga, the company currently offers pilates, kettle bell, core and stretching classes. It will release other fitness activities in 2015. Yoogaia classes are available as live sessions and recordings for all users.
