Thync, a Los Gatos, CA-based neuroscience startup, secured a total of $13m in funding.
The round was led by Khosla Ventures.
Founded in 2011 by CEO Isy Goldwasser (entrepreneur and investor) and Dr. Jamie Tyler (Associate Professor of Biological and Health Systems Engineering at Arizona State University), Thync is engineering a lifestyle wearable device that uses neurosignaling algorithms– waveforms that signal neural pathways –to shift and optimize people’s state of mind in areas related to energy, calm, and focus.
Its technology platform comprises neurosignaling algorithms, hardware, software and biomaterials.
The company has an office in Boston.
