Freightos, a Hong Kong-based provider of an online freight network, closed a $7.6m funding round.
Backers included Annox Capital, Aleph, ICV and OurCrowd. In conjunction with the funding, Robert Mylod, managing partner at Annox Capital, joined Freightos’ board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Zvi Schreiber, CEO, Freightos uses big data technology to enable freight forwarders, shippers and carriers to automate freight booking and pricing online.
The platform allows freight forwarders to quote instantly for even the most complex routes and provides dozens of global freight brokers and major import/export companies around the world with automated rate management and quoting solutions.
