Fleksy Raises $2M in Venture Capital

fleksyFleksy, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of a mobile keyboard, raised $2m in venture capital.

Backers included Digital Garage, Eniac Ventures, Middleland Capital, Highland Capital Partners, Militello Capital, and others.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to improve its product offerings on iOS and Android platforms.

Launched in December 2013 by Kosta Eleftheriou, CEO, and Ioannis Verdelis, COO, Fleksy is a mobile keyboard that features autocorrect, gestures, and customization options.
It enables blind typing on a smartphone and in a 3D augmented reality platform (Leap Motion), and has been deployed on a smartwatch.
The app has been downloaded 2m times by Android and iOS users in over 170 countries.
