Eversight, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of cloud-based software designed to improve promotion effectiveness, received $9.7m in its Series A round of funding.
Emergence Capital Partners made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its engineering, sales and marketing, and service and support teams.
Led by Jamie Rapperport, co-founder and CEO, Eversight operated in stealth mode for nearly 18 months as Promolytics and released its Software-as-a-Service solution in January 2014, which allows manufacturers to collaborate with retailers in order to optimize in-store promotions by real-world-testing many different promotional offers.
Eversight Cloud enables large-scale promotion testing by presenting digital offers to consumers, which can be redeemed in-store as part of their normal shopping routines.
