CloudCannon Raises $500K in Funding

CloudCannon - Editing ScreenshotCloudCannon, a San Francisco, CA-based platform that streamlines the process of deploying a simple website, raised $500k in funding.

Backers included New Zealand investors Sam Morgan, founder of Jasmine Investments, Phil McCaw, Stephen Tindall and Simon Holdsworth.

Led by Mike Neumegen, CEO, CloudCannon is dedicated to bringing content to the web faster by breaking down technical barriers and allowing clients to update static websites directly on the page. The company partners with cloud storage providers, domain registrars and hosting companies to facilitate the rest of the website setup.
The company has just launched globally at TechCrunch Disrupt Europe.
