Founded in 2014 by Allen Proithis, Tom Gilley, Dave Goehrig, and Mike Jeronis., wot.io is a data service exchange to fuse data applications and connected devices.
Its operating environment lets application creators, system integrators, analytics providers, and hardware companies to deliver new service possibilities. Current pre-integrated data services, provided by a list of wot.io partners, include big data storage, device management platforms, scripting rule engine, analytics, reporting, and data delivery to social media outlets.
wot.io is capable of a self-provisioning deployment utilizing docker containers in public or private cloud agnostic infrastructure (OpenStack, Azure, AWS).
