Tink Raises $4M in Series A Funding

tinkTink, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of a personal finance mobile application, raised $4m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Sunstone Capital, with participation from Sven Hagströmer and other existing backers. In conjunction with the funding, Christian Lindegård Jepsen is joining the board of directors of Tink.

The company intends to use the capital to expand in Europe, continue to advance the platform and hire new people.

Founded in 2012 by Daniel Kjellén and Fredrik Hedberg, Tink provides a mobile app that continuously collects, sorts and analyzes personal finances and delivers a simple feed, to see exactly where money is going. Launched a year ago, it is used by over 200,000 people.
The company, which currently has 10 employees, had previously raised $800k.
