The Networking Effect Raises $1M

networking_effectThe Networking Effect, a Barrie, Ontario, Canda-based startup that creates an online match and connect platform for small businesses, closed an angel funding which brought the total investment so far to $1m.

Harry Zarek, President and CEO Compugen, Inc., is the lead investor of The Networking Effect.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the ongoing development program to build the platform and to start its member rollout program with a planned expansion across Canada and the USA.

Founded in late 2013 by John Cameron, CEO, The Networking Effect provides online tools and resources for businesses to get found, matched and connected with other local peers within their community via meaningful connections.
Its small business matching engine allows members to find new prospects, suppliers and get advice and connect with other small business members to build communications groups, and a personal network.
