Sharethrough Raises $10M in Funding

sharethroughSharethrough, a San Francisco, CA-based advertising startup, raised $10m in funding.

The round was led by British Sky Broadcasting with participation from FLOODGATE, Elevation Partners, North Bridge Venture Partners and Silver Creek Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Jamie West, Deputy Managing Director of Sky Media, will join Sharethrough’s board as an observer.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate global expansion and product development. It is hiring.

Led by Dan Greenberg, CEO, Sharethrough operates a marketplace for brands and publishers to drive engagement for their original brand content on websites. Media companies use the Sharethrough for Publishers (SFP) software platform to create, manage, and monetize in-feed advertising on their sites across all connected devices.
Over the past 12 months, the company has been adopted by over 300 premium publishers including Men’s Health, Gannett, Forbes, Time Inc., Business Insider, opened offices in London and acquired the UK content marketing company VAN.
