Narrative Raises $8M in Funding

narrativeNarrative, a Stockholm, Sweden and San Francisco, CA-based provider of a wearable camera, raised $8m in funding.

The round was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from existing investors True Ventures and Passion Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Keith Rabois, a partner at Khosla Ventures, joined Narrative’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to develop the Narrative Clip and Service and and hire new people (read here).

Founded in 2012 by Martin Källström, Narrative provides The Narrative Clip, a tiny, automatic camera and app that gives users a searchable and shareable photographic memory. The clip weighs 20 grams (0.7 oz) and measures 36x36x9 mm (1.42×1.42×0.35 inches). It has a storage capacity of 4,000 pictures and battery life for 2 days of use.
