Motoring.co.uk, a Manchester, UK-based operator of an automotive website, received a £500k financing from The Greater Manchester Loan Fund (GMLF), managed by Maven Capital Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to both augment its existing website, finalize the development of the MyMotoring platform, accelerate the growth of the user base and of the infrastructure required, as well as to launch of the new portal “MyMotoring” and a series of products, with an initial focus on the after-sales market.
Established in 2007 and led by Terry Hogan, Managing Director, Motoring provides a wide range of content, information and services for users across buying, selling and owning a car.
It has over 600,000 unique visitors per month and over 1.3 million registered users Motoring.co.uk .
MyMotoring will act as a central hub for motorists, and will use social content and tools to engage users throughout the whole ownership experience, providing reminders and offering solutions for key ownership events.
