Lodgeo, a London, UK-based hotel price comparison app, raised £2m in funding.
Backers included Javest Investment Fund and three unnamed angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to further enhance the technology and to launch international marketing initiatives.
Led by Ines Djelassi, founder, Lodgeo has developed a mobile metasearch app that aggregates data from all the largest Online Travel Agents (including booking.com, expedia.com, etc.) to allow users to book at lowest prices in-app without needing to compare or any redirect to third party sites.
The application is multilingual and multi-currency and features geo-location functionality.
