Invoice2go Raises $35M in Financing

invoice2goInvoice2go, a Sidney, Australia-based mobile app that allows small businesses to manage cash flow, raised $35m in financing.

Backers included Accel Partners and Ribbit Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Greg Waldorf, CEO-in-Residence at Accel Partners, joined Invoice2go’s as CEO. Ryan Sweeney, a partner at Accel, will join the board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow operations, hire additional people internationally, and expand product development and marketing efforts.

Founded by Australian developer Chris Strode, who will continue to develop the product from the Sydney office, Invoice2go provides a mobile app that allows small businesses to manage cash flow, through invoicing, expense tracking and reporting tools.
Currently available in eleven languages, including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Swedish, Italian and Thai, the app is used by 100,000+ customers worldwide in over 50 countries.

The company is opening a new office in Palo Alto, California.
