Ifbyphone Raises $30M; Acquires Mongoose Metrics

ifbyphoneIfbyphone, a Chicago, IL-based provider of voice-based marketing automation platform, raised an additional $30m in new funding.

New investor NewSpring Capital joined previous investors Apex Venture Partners, SSM Partners, Origin Ventures, River City Capital Funds, i2A Illinois Accelerator Fund and Spring Mill Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to complete the acquisition of Mongoose Metrics, a Cleveland-based provider of call tracking, measurement and attribution, and to develop call tracking and management technologies for its Voice360 platform.

The addition of the Mongoose Metrics solution to Ifbyphone’s Voice360 platform provides enterprise-level companies and marketing agencies with a comprehensive solution for generating, analyzing and optimizing phone leads and voice interactions.
As part of the acquisition, Mongoose Metrics’ Cleveland office will remain open with its staff continuing to serve customers and develop innovative technologies. Brad Reynolds, CEO, who will become a member of the Ifbyphone executive team focusing on the integration of the two entities and seamless customer support.

Led by Irv Shapiro, CEO, Ifbyphone provides Voice360, a voice-based marketing automation platform for businesses to connect, measure and optimize sales calls. It is used by marketing agencies, lead generation, e-commerce, direct response, financial services and insurance, healthcare, automotive, retail and logistics, and SaaS and technology.
