Bluebridge Closes $1M Seed Financing

bluebridgeBluebridge, a Fishers, Ind.-based provider of a SaaS platform for organizations to engage their audiences, closed a $1m seed financing.

Backers included angel investors including Bill Godfrey, founder of Aprimo, and Tim Kopp, former CMO of ExactTarget and others with software and operating experience.

The company intends to use the funds to further expand its team to 50 employees within the next year and to invest in the continued development of its subscription-based app platform.

Founded in 2011 by Santiago Jaramillo, founder and CEO, Bluebridge allows organizations such as universities, convention and visitors bureaus, and churches to engage their audiences and communities through mobile apps, available in the iTunes and Google Play stores, an app management software and a suite of services and resources, including mobile strategy, push notifications, analytics, app maintenance and training and support.

Its tools are used by Purdue University, Gatlinburg, Tenn. Convention and Visitors Bureau, and The Wesleyan Church, among others.
