BetterWorks Raises $15.5M Series A Round of Funding

Betterworks_LogoBetterWorks, a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of enterprise goals platform designed to allow businesses to engage, and cross-functionally align their workforces, raised a $15.5m Series A round of funding.

The round was led by John Doerr and Bing Gordon of Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers, with participation from Joe Lonsdale from Formation 8, and seed funding from AME Cloud Ventures and Pejman Mar Ventures. Doerr, Gordon and Londsale joined BetterWorks’ Board of Directors.

Co-founded in 2013 by Kris Duggan, Di Wu and Paul Reeves, BetterWorks provides an enterprise goals platform designed to foster openness, engagement and alignment for both individuals and companies. It allows users to set their own goals and executives to track individual and overall employee progress throughout the quarter and year, identify problem areas and dynamically adjust priorities to stay competitive.
It is used by Silicon Valley and traditional Fortune 1000 businesses throughout the country, including Bluenose Analytics, Edmunds, Lookout, Lumeris, UpWind and the US Department of Health and Human Services.

The company has an office in New York.
