ActivityHero Closes $2.2M Series A Funding

activityheroActivityHero, a San Francisco, CA-based platform for parents to find and book after-school activities and summer camp for kids, closed $2.2m Series A funding.

The round was led by Inventus Capital Partners.

The company plans to use the funds to further its reach throughout the Bay Area and expand to LA and Philadelphia as well as to grow its team of engineers, designers, and sales and marketing professionals.

Founded by Shilpa Dalmia and Peggy Chang, ActivityHero allows parents to find and book after-school activities and summer camps for kids. It provides up-to-date information covering the full spectrum of out-of-school activities.
Parents can register their kids in multiple programs with one app and activity providers automate the paperwork and payments.
