Ybrain Raises $3.5M in Series A Funding

YbrainYbrain, a South Korea-based healthcare wearables startup, raised $3.5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Stonebridge Capital.

The company, which has now raised $4.2m, intends to use the funds to grow the team and build products.

Founded in Feb 2013 by Caltech neuroscientist Kyongsik Yun, CEO, and Samsung engineers, Ybrain offers healthcare wearables for Alzheimer’s disease patients and Mild Cognitive Impairment patients. It is currently carrying out clinical trials with Samsung Medical Center in Korea.
