Wantable, Inc., a Milwaukee, WI-based ecommerce discovery service for makeup, fashion accessories, and intimate apparel, closed a $1.5m Series A funding.
Backers included both Wisconsin and California-based groups.
The company, which has raised $800k in 2012, intends to use the funds to expand its business, hire new people, improve the technology and add a forth product category, fitness apparel, this September.
Led by President Jalem Getz, Wantable offers a personal shopping service online, delivering hand-picked assortments of specialty products to busy women on a reoccurring basis. Each month, in-house and guest curators hand-pick beauty, fashion accessories, and intimate apparel from hundreds of boutique, specialty, and premium vendors.
The company currently has 23 full time employees.
