Readyforce, a San Francisco, CA-based professional network for college students, acquired HireBrite, a Chicago-based platform that connects college students and companies.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
With HireBrite, Readyforce expands its presence in the Midwest and Northeast, and adds over 20,000 students and 700 recruiters. It now has over 80,000 members and 4,000 campus recruiters in the network.
Founded in 2012 by Kasra Moshkani, Rolando Perez and Phillip Birtcher, HireBrite created a Common App for students to apply to multiple jobs and internships with one submission.
Readyforce and HireBrite will continue to operate separately for now and long term plans include integrating HireBrite under the Readyforce brand.

It is backed by Menlo Ventures, US Venture Partners, Pivot North, Founder Collective and First Round Capital.
