Henley-in-Arden, UK-based Technology investment specialist Mercia Fund Management is launching a new digital fund.
The Mercia Digital Fund will invest in a diversified portfolio of innovative digital companies with high growth potential.
Target sectors of investment will include:
– Fintech – financial technology
– The Internet of Things (IoT) – focused around the interconnection of everyday devices through the internet, allowing automated data interaction
– E-commerce, and
– Gaming and gamification, in which game technology is used in non-game contexts.
Led by Mark Payton, Managing Director, Mercia Fund Management provides growth capital for technology-focused businesses.
The firm, which has strong links with several universities, has assets under management of more than £22m.
