Luminal, a Frederick, MD and Washington, DC-based startup developing solutions for cloud operations and management, closed a $10M Series B financing round.
The round was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) with participation from existing investors Core Capital and the Maryland Venture Fund.
The company, which has now raised $13.8M in total, intends to use the funds to grow the team (experts in language design, distributed computing, and cloud infrastructure) and expand its beta customer base in advance of general availability of its product.
Led by Josh Stella, founder and CEO, Luminal has developed a solution to automate the deployment and operations of cloud-based systems. The product initially will be available on Amazon Web Services.
