HubSpot Files for IPO to Raise $100M

hubspot-logo-darkHubSpot, a Boston, MA-based marketing software company, filed for an IPO to raise $100m.

Co-founded eight years ago by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah, HubSpot provide a cloud-based marketing and sales software platform that enables businesses to deliver an inbound experience to attract, and engage customers to their websites, convert visitors into leads, close leads into customers and delight customers, so that they become promoters of those businesses.
Integrated applications include social media, search engine optimization, blogging, website content management, marketing automation, email, analytics and reporting.
The company, which has more than 700 employees (90 in Dublin, Ireland), more than 11,500 customers and had revenue of $77.6m in 2013, is backed by Sequoia Capital, Matrix Partners, Charles River Ventures, Scale Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners.
