Ann Arbor, Michigan-based venture capital firm Plymouth Ventures closed its third fund.
Plymouth Venture Partners III will continue to focus on investing in growth stage businesses located in the Great Lakes region.
Led by Managing Partner Mark Horne, the firm now has over $100 million in committed capital under management.
Fund III is a follow-on fund to Plymouth Venture Partners I and II, which have collectively invested in 39 companies since 2003. As part of the raise, Evan Ufer joined as a new partner focusing on generating deal flow and closing investments, while and Chris Frick joined as a Chief Financial Officer.
Ian Bund, Jeff Barry, Kevin Terrasi are other partners in the firm.
