PagerDuty Completes $27.2M Series B Funding

pagerduty_logo_greenPagerDuty, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an operations performance management platform, completed a $27.2m Series B funding.

The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from previous investors Andreessen Horowitz, Baseline Ventures, and Harrison Metal. In conjunction with the funding, Trevor Oelschig, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, will join PagerDuty’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds for product development.

Led by Alex Solomon, CEO and co-founder, PagerDuty provides a performance platform for operations engineers and developers to manage and resolve incidents across a company’s global operations. It creates global visibility across the organization, fixes the broken incident lifecycle and delivers actionable data that helps teams prevent future issues.

Since its $10.7m Series A funding round in 2013, the company has added VP of Sales Trenton Truitt, VP of Marketing Nisha Ahluwalia, VP of People and Talent Sophie Kitson, CFO Charles Ferer, and VP of Products Jonathan Wilkinson.

PagerDuty, which is currently hiringhas over 80 platform partners. It serves Microsoft, National Instruments, Electronic Arts, Adobe, Rackspace, Etsy, Square and Github.
