mooc-logoMoogsoft, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a collaborative situation management solution for web-scale IT operations, closed an $11.3m Series B funding round.

The round was led by new investor Wing Venture Capital with participation from existing investors Redpoint Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Peter Wagner, founding partner of Wing Venture Capital, joined Moogsoft’s board.

The company, which has now raised approximately $18m, intends to use the funds for continued technology innovation and geographic expansion.

Led by co-founders Phil Tee, CEO, and Mike Silvey, EVP, Moogsoft offers a platform for ensuring the availability of continuous delivery applications and infrastructure. Incident.MOOG is used by web-scale service providers and enterprises to create collaborative situational awareness among IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) teams. It uses adaptive machine learning to detect abnormalities in infrastructure and service behavior in real time, produces contextual narratives of incidents as they unfold, and then creates a dynamic teaming environment for stakeholders to accelerate resolution and knowledge sharing.
