Intigua Closes $10M Series B Funding

Intigua_logoIntigua, a Newton, MA-based provider of a platform for software-defined operations, closed a $10m Series B funding.

The round, which brought the total invested capital to $21m, was led by new investor Intel Capital with participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Cedar Fund.

The company intends to use the funds for global sales, marketing and development efforts.

Led by Shimon Hason, CEO, Intigua provides the Intigua Virtual Management Platform which automatically discovers new and existing workloads across physical, virtual and public/private cloud environments. Using the Intigua policy engine, the right management tools are configured, delivered and monitored based on the needs of the workload.
The platform supports a wide range of tools across performance monitoring, backup, security, logging, configuration management and more, from vendors including Amazon, BMC, CA, Chef, EMC, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Puppet, Splunk, VMware, as well as OpenStack.
