Weave, a Pleasant Grove, Utah-based provider of telecom solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, raised $5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by A Capital, the early-stage firm newly launched by Ronny Conway, with participation from Homebrew, Fuel Capital, SV Angel, Y Combinator and Initialized Capital.
The company intends to use the funds for new hires, expansion of sales and marketing efforts development of new innovations.
Led by Brandon Rodman, CEO, Weave provides small and medium-sized businesses with telephone services that sync with existing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software. It integrates VoIP calling, SMS text messaging, and emailing into a single desktop service, allowing businesses to manage their customer messaging.
It is currently used by more than 600 dental practices across the United States and Canada.
