SpinGo, a Draper, UT- San Francisco, CA- New York, NY-based platform for finding and promoting events, raised $2m in Series A funding.
Backers included Josh James, Rick Alden, Todd Pedersen, Alan Hall, and Greg Warnock.
The company, which has raised $6m to date, including $4m in seed and angel funding.
Founded in 2012 by by Kreg and Amanda Peeler, CEO and founder, SpinGo is an event engine that provides a national network of more than 1000 media websites and independent mobile apps with human-verified, local event content. Its database features more than 100,000 monthly events, 100,000 performers, and tens of thousands of venues.
