Rhiza, a Pittsburgh, PA-based provider of marketing analytics tools that make Big Data actionable for marketers and salespeople, closed a $3m Series A funding.
The round was led by Draper Triangle Ventures with participation from Arthur Ventures, and Camp One Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds for ongoing growth by building out its sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
Led by CEO Josh Knauer, Rhiza provides a SaaS-based online platform for marketers and salespeople to make Big Data actionable and develop marketing plans, support multi channel media buys and create visually compelling, data-driven marketing and sales collateral. Media publishers use Rhiza to provide their salespeople with tools for selling premium advertising while marketers use it to optimize hyper-targeted media buys, track campaign effectiveness and create new marketing plans.
Customers include Comcast, Univision, Cox Media, Cox Reps and Experian.
