RealConnex Launches in Beta with $1.4M in Seed Funding

realconnexRealConnex, a NY and Aventura, FL-based online B2B marketplace for real estate professionals of all disciplines, has launched in open beta and said it has secured approximately $1.4m in seed funding to date.

Backers were not disclosed.

Led by Roy Abrams, CEO and Founder, and Joseph Stecher, Chief Capital Markets Strategy Officer, RealConnex provides tools that enable members to search for and connect with the right capital sources, investment opportunities, development partners and service providers based on detailed criteria. The site also matches service providers to project requirements generated by real estate developers, general partners, sponsors, investors, owners and operators and offers a range of CRM tools. A real-time dashboard organizes members’ activities on the site and reports on all interactions with other members, projects and services. Collaboration rooms serve as centralized meeting spaces to interface with all parties involved in a project or transaction.

The company plans to raise $7m in a Series A financing round during the summer of 2014.
